Gigi Hadid Pasta

I am not a huge penne alla vodka gal, but I just had to try the Gigi Hadid recipe. This is a blush sauce recipe that is creamy with a kick of spice that will you become OBSESSED with after the first bite!

Recipe

  • makes 2 servings or 1 if you’re me

  • takes 10-15 minutes

Ingredients:

1 minced clove of garlic

¼ white onion

¼ cup tomato paste

½ cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon vodka (optional)

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

2 servings of your favorite pasta

1 tablespoon butter

¼ cup parmesan cheese

Basil for topping

1/4 cup EVOO

Directions:

  1. Heat the EVOO, minced garlic and chopped onion until the onion is translucent on medium heat

  2. Add tomato paste. Then add heavy cream. Then add vodka if you would like. You need to wait a minute to ensure that the vodka evaporates. Add red pepper flakes. I used 1 teaspoon because I have a low spice tolerance but feel free to adjust.

  3. Cook the pasta and save 1 cup of pasta water. Take the sauce off the heat and stir in the pasta water, grated parmesan, and butter.

  4. Add the pasta into the sauce and mix well. Top with basil & parmesan. Enjoy!
